The Florida Organization of Instructional Leaders (FOIL) is a statewide organization dedicated to facilitating professional networking and collegial support in the areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment. It is an organization that has been in existence for over 30 years. The organization meets twice a year in November and May, following the State’s Legislative Session. FOIL meets with Department of Education representatives at both meetings to discuss district level administrative perspective on legislative issues, receive technical assistance on legislative mandates, exchange ideas and discuss common issues among the membership. District level instructional leaders throughout the state are invited and urged to attend the meetings.
